CHK Weekend Roundup: Train Day, March for Moms, Spy Museum Grand Reopening

CHK wishes all the Capitol Hill moms an awesome Mother’s Day weekend! If you’re not already booked solid, take a look at the following Mother’s-Day-weekend-worthy events.

  • Train Day at the National Postal Museum: Saturday, May 11, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. 2 Massachusetts Ave NE. Experience the Railway Post Office by checking out the inside of the train car and find out how train conductors use whistle signals to communicate. Free, all ages.
  • March for Moms: Saturday, May 11, 1-3 p.m. National Mall. Join this family-friendly, peaceful demonstration to call attention to the critical need to address maternal health.
  • International Spy Museum Grand Opening, May 12, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. 700 L’Enfant Plaza SW. A re-imagined Spy Museum reopens at its new location. Tickets; free for moms.
