DC Bike Ride: Registration Closes Wednesday Night

Enjoy a family bike ride to see monuments and more with no worries about aggressive drivers. This Saturday, D.C. streets will close to cars and open to bikes for the DC Bike Ride.

Children must be 3 to participate; kids ages 3-7 are free, but they must ride on child bike seat, tagalong bike, tandem bike, bike trailer or cargo. Kids ages 8-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

This year, organizers have also planned a scavenger hunt along the course.

The 20-mile ride begins at Ohio Drive SW and ends on 3rd St SW between the U.S. Capitol and the National Mall with a festival. See road closure info.
