A Crafty Evening and More Fun With Makeshift

This past Saturday, AJ and I visited Makeshift for the first time for the Pizza and Picasso craft night, where little moppets made Father’s Day cards (as pictured above) and had their fill of pizza and lemonade.

Family Art Summer Saturdays at CHAW

Capitol Hill Arts Workshop (CHAW) is offering free Saturday art experiences for the whole family with Summer Saturdays, starting tomorrow. Each Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon, amazing teaching artists will lead families in a guided art project.

The activities are open to kids 4 and up with an adult. No registration is required. Donations encouraged to go toward tuition assistance. No class on July 6. See CHAW’s calendar.
