- Rediscover Eastern Market, see schedule above. Eastern Market is celebrating 10 years since its reopening in 2009 after a devastating fire in 2017. The celebration features live music, tours, games and more. Free.
- The Fields at RFK Campus: Grand Opening and Celebration, Saturday, 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m., 2400 East Capitol St SE. Mayor Bowser and Events DC celebrate the opening of the fields with activities, live music and refreshments. The project includes three multipurpose turf fields, a pavilion, playground and more. - Opening Weekend: The David H. Koch Hall of Fossils–Deep Time, opening Saturday morning with outdoor activities starting at 8:30 and doors opening to all at 10:30, National Museum of Natural History.
