River Park Nursery School is holding its annual Sock Hop and Silent Auction on Saturday, Feb. 29, 4-7 p.m. in the parish hall at the Lutheran Church of the Reformation, 212 East Capitol St NE. This fun-for-families event features dinner, drinks, a deluxe silent auction and kids’ entertainer Mr. Skip. Proceeds benefit the school. Buy tickets in advance ($45/family) or at the door ($50/family).
Established in 1963, RPNS is maybe the oldest nursery school on the Hill. It is a parent-run, cooperative school that serves children ages 3-5 with a half-day program three to five mornings a week. RPNS is currently accepting applications for the 2020-2021 school year, due March 2. See admissions and tuition for details.
