Kid Event of the Season: Gan Shalom’s Purim Carnival, March 8

Get ready for the little-kid event of the season. Gan Shalom Cooperative Preschool invites the entire community to its annual Purim Carnival, to be held Sunday, March 8, 10 a.m. to noon at the Naval Lodge, 330 Pennsylvania Ave SE.

The carnival is promised to be the “biggest and best ever,” featuring Zig Zag the Magic Man, face painters, balloon animals and snacks like hamantaschen. What’s that? Hamantaschen are fun, triangular pastry pockets with tasty fillings.
