Make Hamentasch With Kids at the Hill Center, March 8

Hamentaschen are pocket pastries with tasty fillings made to celebrate Purim, the Jewish spring holiday festival that commemorates the saving of the Jewish people from Haman, as recounted in the book of Esther.

Get into the Purim spirit with a Kids’ Hamentasch Bake. Families and kids will roll, shape and fill their own hamentaschen, then take them home to bake and share.

Register to attend this event to be held Sunday, March 8, 2 to 3 p.m. at the Hill Center, 921 Pennsylvania Ave SE. Tickets are $10/child (adult included) and $25/family.
