All Weekend
Imagination Stage’s Mouse on the Move, several showtimes, Atlas Performing Arts Center, 1333 H St NE. Two mice are ready for adventure. Tickets, $15
National Children’s Museum is open, 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., 1300 Pennsylvania Ave NW. Exhibits include the Dream Machine, a three-story slide; Little Dreamers and Little Movers, infant and toddler play areas; and Tinkerers Studio, a learning lab. Tickets are $10.95 for adult/child (children under 1 are free).
Friday
Baby Bar Takeover, 3:30 p.m., the Brig, 1007 8th St SE. Bring your baby and have a brew with neighbors. Free to attend ($ for beer).
St. Peter’s Annual Lenten Fish Fry, 5-8 p.m., 313 2nd St SE. Popular community event to benefit Boy Scouts Troop 380. Dinner includes fish, pasta, sides, tea and lemonade. Bake sale desserts. Tickets: $20/person, $7/kids 6-12, $45/family, free for kids 5 and under.
Saturday
Atlas Performing Arts Center’s Intersections Festival Family Fun Days:
- Creation Station with Makeshift, 10 a.m.-noon. Do a kid-friendly craft for a community art installation, led by art educators from Makeshift. All ages. Free.
- Culture Queen in Concert, 11 a.m. Be inspired and entertained by the Culture Queen and her rich storytelling and self-affirming songs. All ages. Free.

Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner at Dio Wine Bar, 3:30-5 p.m., 904 H St NE. Local publisher Lola & Pear Publishing will do an advance reading of their new book “Mommy Didn’t Say That” for the parents and “The Adventures of Duke” for the kids. Free to attend ($ for food and wine), registration optional.
River Park Nursery School’s Annual Sock Hop and Silent Auction, 4-7 p.m., Lutheran Church of the Reformation, 212 East Capitol St NE. This fun-for-families event features dinner, drinks, a deluxe silent auction and kids’ entertainer Mr. Skip. Proceeds benefit the school. Buy tickets in advance ($45/family) or at the door ($50/family).

Sunday
The Great Zucchini at Capitol Cider House, 10:30-11:15 a.m., 3930 Georgia Ave NW. The magical preschool and kindergarten entertainer performs a colorful show. Tickets, $7.
