Looking for a baby, toddler or preschooler music activity in Southwest? City Sing and Play opened this past October in the Waterfront neighborhood, giving Hill families a new option for Music Together classes. Classes are held at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church at 222 M St SW.
City Sing and Play is a Music Together program, which uses research-based methods to nurture children’s natural musicality in a playful learning environment. It is run by Emily Olmsted, an experienced and passionate Music Together teacher, choir singer and former nanny.
Registration for the spring semester, which starts April 7, is open now for babies, toddlers and preschoolers in mixed-age classes. In addition to the spring series, City Sing and Play also offers single, drop-in class options and a free trial.
